1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- "Owlspring", "we", "our", or "us" refers to Owlspring, the education provider operating from 12 Lorong Mahsuri 2, 11900 Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia.
- "You" or "user" refers to anyone who accesses our website or enrols in a programme.
- "Programmes" refers to The Quiet Account Workshop, the Monthly Rhythms Programme, and The Second-Half Curriculum, as described on our website.
- "Content" refers to all text, materials, worksheets, reader documents, and other educational resources we provide.
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or enrolling in a programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Our programmes are open to adults aged 18 and above. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or enrol in a programme.
3. Our Services
Owlspring provides structured educational programmes on household money management for adults in the second half of life. Our programmes are designed as general education only. We do not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, legal counsel, or any regulated professional service.
Programme details โ including schedules, formats, and materials โ are described on our website and may be updated. We will notify enrolled participants of any material changes to a programme they have paid for.
Our programmes are conducted in English and are tailored to the Malaysian context, including references to EPF, ASB/ASN, and local administrative norms.
4. Programme Enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of the full programme fee. Enquiries submitted through the website do not constitute enrolment or reservation.
- Each programme has a maximum group size of 12 participants. Places are allocated in order of payment receipt.
- Once confirmed, you will receive programme details, schedule, and any pre-reading by email.
- Participants are expected to attend the sessions they have enrolled in. We do not issue certificates of completion.
- Where attendance is not possible, please contact us in advance; we will do our best to accommodate, subject to programme format constraints.
Owlspring reserves the right to decline or withdraw an enrolment at its discretion, with a full refund provided where enrolment has already been paid for.
5. Your Responsibilities
When using our website or participating in a programme, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when making an enquiry or enrolling.
- Treat facilitators and fellow participants with courtesy and respect.
- Not record, copy, or distribute programme sessions or materials without our written permission.
- Not use our website or materials for any unlawful purpose.
- Not attempt to disrupt the operation of our website or systems.
We reserve the right to remove participants who behave in a manner that is disruptive or disrespectful to others, without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and all programme materials โ including printed readers, workbooks, routine cards, and calendar templates โ are the intellectual property of Owlspring or our content partners, protected under Malaysian copyright law.
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials provided as part of your programme enrolment for your own household and educational purposes only.
You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt, or commercially exploit our content without our prior written consent.
7. Fees & Refunds
Programme fees are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are as follows:

Refund Policy
- More than 14 days before programme start: Full refund, less a RM 50 administrative fee.
- 7 to 14 days before programme start: 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before programme start: No refund. You may transfer your place to another individual with prior written notice.
- If Owlspring cancels a session: Full refund or transfer to the next available cohort, at your choice.

8. Disclaimers
Owlspring is an educational provider. Nothing in our programmes, materials, or website constitutes financial, investment, legal, or professional advice of any kind. Participants should consult appropriately licensed professionals โ such as licensed financial planners, lawyers, or accountants โ for advice specific to their circumstances.
Our website and materials are provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that the site will be available at all times or that it will be free from errors or interruptions.
Educational content reflects general information as of the time of programme delivery. Laws, account structures, and administrative processes may change. We encourage participants to verify current details with relevant institutions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Owlspring's total liability to you in connection with any programme or use of our website shall not exceed the total fee paid by you for the relevant programme.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or participation in our programmes, including any decisions made based on programme content.
We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, illness of key personnel, or government-imposed restrictions on gatherings.
10. Termination
You may withdraw from a programme at any time, subject to the refund policy in Section 7. We may remove a participant without refund if their conduct is disruptive or in breach of these Terms.
We reserve the right to discontinue any programme with reasonable notice. In such cases, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of any fees paid for sessions that have not yet taken place.
11. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] so that we can attempt an informal resolution.
If the matter cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may refer it to the courts of Pulau Pinang, Malaysia, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Consumer disputes may also be referred to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia) where applicable.
12. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Owlspring regarding use of our website and programmes.
- Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to do so in the future.
- Assignment: You may not assign any rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer our obligations to a successor entity.
